Stacking The Shelves & Weekly Wrap #011

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online bookshops, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course eBooks. Hosted by Tyngas Reviews.

News

●  I read, loved and reviewed the middle grade book of the year, Bird by Crystal Chan. If you live in Australia or New Zealand, you could win a paperback copy.
●  As some of you may have heard, David Estes is celebrating a book birthday for his awesome young adult Fire Country, check out my review. It runs from the 24th until the 27th of February and besides the coupon for a free copy of Fire Country, there will be a big birthday giveaway. Check it out here.
●  I also got the chance to grill Sarah Fine and Walter Jury, read what they had to say here

    1. Thanks Dre. I'm super excited to read it. The Juliette Chronicles has been one of my favorite series, and I'll be sad to have to say goodbye to the characters. Fingers crossed Tahereh Mafi has something new on the horizon soon.

  2. Awesome haul, I got 11 and Marie Antoinette as well which look interesting. This post reminds me that I should read The Last Girl soon, I had it on my desk to start and then a whole heap of other books popped up ahead...as it usually does. I didn't know Chasing Stars was out, I didn't really like the first book so I probably won't be reading the 2nd but keen to hear what you think about it.

    Here's my STS this week.

    1. Definitely push it to the top of your pile Jeann, I really enjoyed it. It's creepy and although the premise may be too far fetched, the reactions of people and the community are frightening. It's a supernatural post apocalyptic, really enthralling.
