Elixir: Covenant Novella by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Aiden St. Delphi will do anything to save Alex. Even if it means doing the one thing he will never forgive himself for. Even if it means making war against the gods.

SPOILER ALERT: This novella follows DEITY, the Third Covenant Novel, and should be read after DEITY in order to avoid spoilers.

Alex has finally awakened and the Apollyon has possessed Alex. Seth has taken her power and it seems nothing can break the connection, apart from Alex herself... Or death.

Seth can only be killed by another Apollyon, and she is being held captive to keep herself safe. Even the gods cannot stop the possession and the inevitable is upon them, Alex has lost herself to Seth and a war is brewing between the few left on the island and the army that Seth is amassing. The only option is to break the connections between the Apollyon's long enough to end Seth and his hunger for power.

Aiden refuses to give up on Alex and will do everything within his power to make sure she returns to the girl he fell in love with.

I love novellas in between the novels within a series, and Elixir is no different. Told from Aiden's point of view, during the initial connection between Seth and Alex and fighting against the gods and time, for her life. It takes place between books three and four of the series. Do not read Elixir until you have read Deity, book three in the Covenant series.

  1. I've never read in between books, like Elixir. I think I might start reading them now! I was so disappointed when I found out that Seth turned evil!
