A Sad Announcement

With much sadness, I just want to announce that my friend Kynndra will no longer be blogging.

Kynndra and I were friends long before we began blogging together, but after I finally convinced her to join me, I know that her heart has never been truly in it. When Kynndra first joined me, I was overwhelmed by blogging and ready to quit myself. It's amazing how your perspective changes when sharing something you once loved with a friend, and I fell in love with blogging all over again.

She's a remarkable young woman who I love dearly and even though we're miles apart in distance and age, Kynndra truly is my kindred spirit. I'm sad that she's finally decided to give up blogging, but Kynndra has always been more than words on a page and I'm excited to see where life takes her next.

But wherever she's going, I'll be with her every step of the way because I love that girl dearly. If I'm ever lucky enough to have a daughter one day, I hope she turns out to be half the young woman my friend Kynndra is, because the world needs more of her determination, her spirit and most of all her kindness.

To the moon and back my darling girl.

  1. Oh Kynndra, I'm so sad to see you go as you're such a light in the book blog community but if it feels right to leave then I'm happy for you! Thank you for blogging the time that you have blogged as I've adored every one of your beautifully written posts :)

    1. I am too Ella, but you can still chat to her on Twitter and she'll still be reading and reviewing on Goodreads. Blogging is just so time consuming and it'll free her up for bigger and better things. She's welcomed back any time too!

    1. I am for now smushy. A bit sad to be going it alone again, but hoping my love of books will help me push through. She'll still be chatting books on Twitter and Goodreads, but her heart just wasn't in reviewing.

  5. Beautiful post! Sorry to see you go Kynndra, but you have to do what you love, and if that's not blogging, that's okay!

  6. So sad to see you go, Kynndra! But of course, blogging isn't something that can be forced, so I hope you find your passion! I'm so glad I know you from twitter, and you can talk to me whenever you want <33

    1. She'll still be Tweeting and enjoying books Tiffany and couldn't agree more. Reviewing can be incredibly time consuming and if I had to start blogging all over again, I probably wouldn't to be honest. I had no idea how much time it takes and how involved you end up being. I love books, but I think sometimes it tends to consume bloggers a little too much.

  11. Aw this is one of the cutest posts I have EVER read. It's so sad that you're leaving Kynndra. Have fun pursuing all the non-blogging things with the same vivacity you've taken blogging on with. It was wonderful reading your words!

    1. She'll still be on Twitter and reading on Goodreads too Zoe, so she hasn't gone far. She just wants to spread her wings and try new things. I'm grateful that she gave it a go even though her heart was never in it. She's such a beautiful girl.

    1. Thanks Sarah, and thank you. It'll be lonely going back to blogging alone again but Kynn and I have been friends long before blogging so thankfully nothing much will change apart from the reviews.

  18. I read this post the other day and was just really sad. I'll miss you, Kynn, especially your very thoughtful reviews that pushed me to make a bunch of book purchases! But if it wasn't making you happy, then leaving is probably the best decision. Do keep in touch though!
    Take care!
