I'm hoping next year to read less new release authors and read older back releases that are little known. I don't read YA, romance or contemporary. I find in my zombie books we get a decent range of ethnic backgrounds for the soldiers...but what I'd love to see more of in books are MCs with a range of disabilities. Why not a blind person with a guide dog or someone in a wheelchair trying to survive the apocalypse? I'd love to read things like that.
