Dear Diva Submissions

I'd like to think of myself as one of those people that can dish out helpful advice. It's not always helpful, but the intent is there and that counts for something. So now in conjunction with Sporadic Reads, Diva Booknerd is now offering free advice. It doesn't need to be book related, but relationship advice, how to tell your crush you have that third nipple, or when you've caught your brother wearing ladies underwear. My doors are open. Aliases will be used. And letters will be published twice weekly both here and at Sporadic Reads starting on November 2nd.

Simply fill out the form found here.

    1. Oh gosh Ella, I don't know about that. This could be really entertaining, or go horribly, horribly wrong. I'm thinking at this point it'll be a little of both. Aww, thanks for the vote of confidence poppet.

    1. At the moment, it'll be just me. But since I started coblogging at Sporadic Reads as well (because you know, I need to take over ALL the blogs), I'll be posting letters up on there as well. There'll be more information on my first Dear Diva post on the 2nd of November. There's letters flooding in from everywhere.

    1. Thanks Zoe. And remember, it's completely anonymous, unless you include your name or email address. So if anyone has an embarrassing question, ask away.

    1. I can't either actually. This could be either really successful where I actually help people, or they might gather an angry mob and hunt me down with pitchforks.

Fingers crossed and check in next Sunday to see the first lot of Diva Mail.

  5. THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST. OMG!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!! And aaaall the things I'll be able to submit. Oh gosh. Decisions, decisions. Like what do you do when your friends steal your fictional boyfriend? It's a real thing you know. I mean, there just ain't enough Morpheus to go around to be honest, but CERTAIN PEOPLE insist that's not true. *huffs quietly*
Now I know where to go when I'm having my mid-week life crisis.

    1. And it's completely anonymous too. You know, if I get that question now I'll know it's you, little Morpheus hog. You can have Jeb.

Go on, take him. I'll hold the MOTH hostage.

Me too actually. Surprisingly, we've got a few already, quite a few. Might need to do weekly themes with the letter selections.

    1. Thanks Jess.

Just between us though, I really have no idea what I'm doing, but probably best not to tell anyone else. I can't wait to start sharing the submissions, this is going to be heaps of fun.

    1. Thanks Tracey, and there's also the option on the form.to choose if you want serious advice, or just entertainment as well. Just so any real issues are treated respectfully. Submissions are looking good so far. Hopefully a few more come flooding in during the week.

  10. What an amazing idea Kelly! Usually you only see this type of thing in glossy girly magazines, but with you giving out the advice I'm sure it's going to blow those features out of the water. Hope it all goes well and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes up.

    1. Do they still have those? I remember being a teen and reading the teen magazines about make up, fashion and boys and they used to have those 'ask' sections where you'd ask those questions you couldn't ask your parents The answers were always completely irrelevant to what you actually wanted to know.

Should have probably called this 'things you can't ask your mother' instead.
