Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online bookshops, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course eBooks. Hosted by Tyngas Reviews.
After a short Christmas hiatus, I've been spoilt by publishers this week and have received quite a few new and yet to be released in Australia paperbacks. Welcome to my first Stacking The Shelves of 2014.

Oh all the pretties! The covers are beautiful, and I know I'm going to be chekcing out some of these books very soon. Thanks for sharing! I hope you'll enjoy them all.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by earlier. Have a wonderful weekend.
Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews
You too Lexxie, I'm looking forward to getting stuck into them. Thanks for popping by.
DeleteYou got The Queen's Choice, lucky you, I really want to read that one. I look forward to your review of it. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to starting it, it looks awesome doesn't it. Thanks for stopping by. Happy reading.
DeleteAwesome haul! Enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteThanks Brooke. Happy reading.
DeleteI have not yet read any of Philippa Gregory's YA books, but I'd like to check them out. Hope you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteStephanie @ Inspiring Insomnia
Me either Steph, this will be my first one. It's part of a series, but it can also be read as a standalone. Looking forward to starting this one, it looks pretty good. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteOh my gosh! FREE BOOKS!!! And I have Mila 2.0 right now!!! *hugs Amazon* Thanks for pointing those out, Kelly. You're fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI want to try the next Chasing The Valley book. I really liked the first! Ah...ha. Good luck with Afterworld. >_< I'm definitely interested to see what you thought of it (and if I'm just the only crazy one).
I absolutely loved Chasing The Valley as well, one of my favourite reads for 2013. Can't wait to start Borderlands. I was sorry to see that you didn't like Afterworld. It'll be a little while before I get to it.
DeleteLooks like you got some great things, and thanks for sharing about the freebies! Just downloaded some :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my StS @ The NerdHerd Reads
Awesome. Looking forward to seeing what you think of them. Happy reading and thanks for stopping by.
DeleteEnjoy your new haul! :) My STS
ReplyDeleteThanks Jillyn, you too.
DeleteAwesome books this week! The Paige Harbison book looks cute, and you've motivated me to go check it out!
ReplyDeleteThank for stopping by. It's had a few not so favorable reviews, but I enjoy a little typical cliched young adult. They're reliable, no surprises and almost always heartwarming. It's a nice change from heavy dystopian's and fantasy.
DeleteLovely haul this week Kelly, I got Doomed as well, wonder how it'd be? I've heard so many great things about Mila 2.0 but haven't had the chance to read it yet. Enjoy all of your books, can't wait to see what you think about your new review reads :)
ReplyDeleteHey Jeann, Doomed sounds awesome, it's one I would have bought myself. I love the scenario, seeing how heavily reliant on technology we are. I'm currently finishing off season one of Revolution. I don't often watch T.V, so I recorded the series and only watching it back now. It's brilliant, really enjoying it.
DeleteI also got Doomed, Afterworld, Queen's Choice and Fools' Gold. I didn't exactly request any of them so I probably will be giving them to a better home, hah. I hope you enjoy them though!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading! <33
Me neither Mel, but always happy to help out with promotions and reviews. Anything that doesn't take my fancy, I pass them on so someone else may review them too. They might surprise you if you decide to give them a go. Thanks for popping in Mel.
DeleteGreat selection of books! You also have Endurance, I liked that short story from the Razorland series :)
ReplyDeleteI love the extra short stories from a series, most of them are super short, so you would expect them to be free. Apart from the Divergent short stories. Have you seen Four: A Divergent Story Collection? $8.00 is a bit steep for only 160 Kindle pages. And considering how book three went down...
DeleteAwesome haul! Added some to my TBR pile! Hope you enjoy them all!!
ReplyDeleteAlly @ Book Fixation
Thanks Allison and thanks for stopping by.
DeleteCool stack! The Queen's Choice really intrigues me :)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
Me too Shane. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into it in the next few weeks. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteAwesome haul! I've wanted to pick up Doomed, but I just haven't yet! I'm curious to see what you think of it!! Enjoy all your new books and thanks for stopping by my blog! :)
ReplyDeleteDoomed sounds like an awesome read, something I'd definitely pick up myself. Thanks for popping in Becca.
DeleteI'm actually waiting to see if I get approved for Fools Gold. I do so love that series. Come check out my stack as well.

I haven't read any of the previous books in the series, but from what I gather, Fools Gold can be read as a standalone. What have you thought of the series so far? Good luck and fingers crossed that you're approved.
DeleteI really like the cover of Fool's Gold! The USA cover is boring, in my opinion. And I recently reviewed The Queen's Choice, if you're interested in my opinion! It was quite... different, from what I was expecting.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books! Thanks for visiting my blog!
Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
Hey Alyssa. I haven't seen the US cover, I'll be sure to check it out on Goodreads. Just seen your review, so sorry you didn't enjoy it. It sounds like another hit and miss book for most. Thanks for sharing and stopping by.
DeleteGreat haul! Some of these are new to me and I will definitely be looking up on Goodreads. I hope you enjoy your books! My STS :)
ReplyDeleteI'm most excited by getting stuck into Chasing The Valley Borderlands, I absolutely loved the first in the series. It's brilliantly magical. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteWe got some similar reads. Enjoy your haul. I haven't yet read Allegiant...must get onto that :D
ReplyDeleteYou haven't? Ohh, you're in for a ride! Can't wait to see your thoughts on it. Thanks for popping in and hurry up and read it!
DeleteI love that cover of Anything to Have You, the UK one is too cutesy, and it's not cutesy at all, and the US one gives me the creeps. But, The Queen's Choice! Looking forward to reading it. Thanks for stopping by mine earlier. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Kirsty and thanks for popping by. I haven't seen the UK cover, but I'll be sure to check it out. The alternative Aussie covers are usually pretty schmick by the time they're released here. We're pretty much in cover lust.
DeleteSome very pretty covers in there. I've not read any of these books and honestly don't know much about them. I'll have to look some of them up and see if they needed to be added to the TBR wish list. Great haul!
ReplyDeleteOh you got lots of great books! I've read a couple of Philippa Greggory's books and really enjoyed them. The Queen's Choice sounds interesting, I've seen some mixed reviews, but hopefully you enjoy that one :)
ReplyDeleteAnd who doesn't love freebies or the 99c books!!! I'm off to check if some are still on sale ;)
Happy reading!!
I received a copy of Doomed too, and it sounds quite interesting! I also received Chasing The Valley 2 but I have yet to read the first one so I need to go out and purchase that. Looking forward to reading your thoughts on them!
