It's Spamtastic #001

Like most bloggers, each week I'm inundated with nonsense spam comments. Luckily, my comments are filtered and almost all unwanted guests are sent to my spam folder. It's almost entertainment in itself. I assume that even spam finds itself lost in translation, so each week, I'd like to share a few of my cut and paste moments. All names and websites shall be omitted.
A guest list needs to bе created and invitations need to be decided upon anԁ mailed out to everyone concerned. One οf my fondest moments was giving my daughter heг first bath. While no one can say that it's hard to cook soup, there would also be no one that would refuse this type of fooԁ when it's offered to them.
Say what? Now I know you parents out there are fond of celebrating milestones, but that's just ridiculous... I don't care what kind of soup you're serving.

  1. Yeah I just have this opened mouth fish look at that quote (I guess you would say it's a quote?) I honestly don't have much spam at all which may or may not be a good sign...
    Question: Watermeats on Parade???

    1. Oh God, don't ask. I just seen that myself. I use Tinypic to upload a lot of my images, and seems that something is wrong with the upload site and has been showing random images. Thankfully it was only some sort of logo and not pornographic. Phew. Going to switch back to Photobucket.

  2. Oh gosh! Spam is hilarious and freakishly annoying. I had one spam comment tell me my site sucked but they'd stick around and watch (check out my "web blog" and all that junk too). Like, whaaaat?! Since when do you INSULT someone and then hope they'll click your spammy links?!
I can say it's hard to cook soup too. XD

    1. Oh Cait, I've got a few doozies today as well. They probably meant to tell you that they actually enjoyed your blog, they'd be stupid not to, but these ridiculous comments end up lost somewhere in translation and end up making so sense whatsoever.

  3. LOL omg this is hilarious Kelly! Spam comments are really frustrating, although Akismet does it's job pretty well even that is annoying to clear out though. Since installing a plugin called Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin it's decreased the Akismet spam by aplenty, just means people need to click they are not a spammer.

BTW did you move to blogspot?

    1. Hey Jeann, welcome home. For those who don't know Jeann, she's a fellow Aussie that just returned from her American holiday. Check it out HERE.

I've always been with Blogspot, contemplated moving to Wordpress a few time, but just too lazy. I've got a great format now that is easy to post.

The spam is ridiculous, the one I got today was even funnier. Something about a wolf pack. Will post it up during the week. With Blogspot, we can mark comments as spam, so it easily recognizes other spam comments and puts them in a neat little package, ready for my entertainment.
